What should I pack?

The Budgeting and Packing section of the trip notes will give you details of any specific items or clothing required for your trip along with items that you could hire (often these items will need to be requested in advance of the trip).

In general however we recommend packing layers - a good waterproof and windproof outer layer, a fleece and then more base layers depending on the length of your trip. Try not to overload yourself - for longer trips you will often have the opportunity to do laundry en route - look for places you are staying for 2 nights or more. 

Make sure to have a comfy pair of shoes that are broken in be it sandals in hot countries, to boots in cold ones. 

In some countries you may need to cover your head, shoulders and/or knees when entering a church or temple - the trip notes will advise you of this in the Budgeting and Packing section.
